A new designer mobile phone will be available soon, the luxury Samsung Armani SGH P520 Touch-screen cell phone. Once more a mobile phone brand is partnering with a fashion designer to launch a new cell phone.
So the Samsung Armani mobile phone won't be the great F700 as everybody was thinking but just a high-end version of Samsung SGH-P520 mobile phone, a touch-screen cell phone which has been a lot written about early 2007.
This designer mobile phone is a triband GSM with touch screen function and Wi-Fi connection but the bad point is that it only features a 2-megapixel camera which is a very low quality and resolution for a new cellphone, especially if it's a designer cellphone as the Armani mobile.
So except if you are a fashion victim and need a designer mobile phone at all price (almost as expensive as Apple iPhone) then you won't be interested by this new designer phone, as its specs are quite disappointing.
This new Armani designer mobile phone will be available at the end of 2008 and will be a great gifts for fashionistas of the world.

As many people complain about the new Apple iPhone cellphone malfunctions and problems, we have to remind them that the iPhone is not the only luxury mobile phone on the market, and that many other nice mobile phones are available, from many different brands and manufacturers.
The Apple mobile phone might have some good functions but many other luxury cellphones have the same ones and even more, because not enough being nice gadgets, luxury cellphones are turning tech savvy too.
Today people buying luxury or designer mobile phones want them nice and want them to offer all the useful functions that customers are used to.
While more companies are launching new luxury mobile phones for the rich ones, all these cellphones manufacturers now know that they must add all the new features on their cellphones.
Apart from Nokia Vertu many companies are now selling luxury cellphones, such as Bang & Olufsen, Gresso, Mobiado and GoldVish, and mobile phone companies are partnering with luxury brands to produce a range of premium mobile phones, such as LG with Prada, Dolce & Gabbana (D&G) with Motorola, and also Tag Heuer with Modelabs.
Also, Danish electronics maker Bang & Olufsen is working in partnership with Samsung to design the sleek Serene mobile phone which looks like a compact face powder and has a built-in motor to assist the user in opening and closing the phone. However, it requires a special screwdriver to access the battery and the SIM card, and its circular keypad will take time getting used to.
The Lamborghini Nokia 8800 Sirocco is another luxury phone which shows the Lamborghini Italian car make logo engraved on the front and the back of the phone, but also useful functions that everyone can wait from an expensive designer phone.
New players on the cellphone markets are companies such as Canadian Mobiado company which sells the Luminoso cellphone and claims that it is the world’s first 3G luxury mobile phone. This chic phone will work with any GSM network operator and has WCDMA 2100 and tri-band GSM coverage on five continents (GSM/EDGE 900/1800/1900).
Mobiado company also proposes the Mobiado Professional EM, which is a wood-clad upgrade of their earlier phone and includes a camera, a music player, a FM radio, Bluetooth technology, and nice titanium or aluminium buttons.
Manufacturers selling these expensive designer mobile phones claim that they are far more durable than the regular brands but while the engineering is quite good, it's utopia to think that any cellphone will last ten years or more, one of the reasons being that nobody would like to use the same cellphone during ten years.

GM HUMMER MOBILE PHONE
French handset maker ModeLabs has carried over GM’s Hummer licence to mobile phones and proposes the HT1, a slider mobile phone with the military style of the Hummer and a design based on Hummer cars.
This new cell phones comes with a 260k colour LCD with touch screen functionality and a 2 Megapixel camera, GSM connectivity and a micro SD slot with bundled 256MB card.
It also features an FM radio, Bluetooth and a USB port for easy data connectivity.
The Hummer mobile phone is customized with Hummer paint colors and is sold with exclusive wallpapers and videos.
Compared with the Porsche p9521 this phone is less powerful but it is also a lot cheaper than the Porsche mobile phone.

When it's about functionality the i833 phone is largely inspired by the i830 on which it is based, including a 16-bit color screen, Push To Talk functionality, and support for iDEN networks, but it also features a built-in speakerphone, voice dialing, caller ID via an external screen, Java support, and GPS functionality for location-based services.
But what makes this phone very attractive is that it looks like a 1950s Ferrari with its titanium colored shell.

P9521 PORSCHE DESIGN MOBILE PHONE
We are used to partnership between computer companies and car makes, as Acer and Ferrari or Asus and Lamborghini, we are used to partnership between fashion houses and mobile phone companies as Prada and LG or Gucci and Motorola, and it's now time to partnership between a car make and a phone company.
Indeed, Porsche Design Mobile Group has collaborated with Sagem Communication to launch the first ever Porsche Design Mobile Phone, the P'9521.
Porsche Design unveiled the new Porsche mobile phone at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen and the buzz created is almost the same as the one for Apple iPhone.

GUCCI FASHION HOUSE NEXT DESIGNER MOBILE PHONE
With all the fashion house interested in giving their name to any chic accessory, Gucci fashion designer might also be interested in designing a new handset.
Indeed, as the LG Prada phone is a a success it is not surprising that Gucci and other designer brands want to give their name to a trendy phone, and experts said that Nokia is also interested in a partnership with some fashion designers.
Nobody knows yet if the Gucci mobile phone will be a clamshell, slider, or even a touch-screen like the LG Prada and iPhones, but we can be sure that the design will be nice, Gucci being one of the greatest fashion designer ever.

LG PRADA APPLE iPHONE STYLE MOBILE PHONE AVAILABLE
The new Prada designed LG mobile phone has been launched before the Apple iPhone as the LG company planed to put it on the market at least few months before the Apple iPhone to avoid a direct concurrence.
With its touch sensitive screen the mobile phone by Prada and LG is definitively an iPhone challenger, even though it is less powerful.
The previous LG phone success offering a sensitive screen was the LG Chocolate phone which is still a new phone in some parts of the world (but no more in South Korea) and this time again LG has released a cell phone with almost no button, giving the phone a sexy design, even more when you know that it has been made with the help of Prada fashion house designers.
People who do not want to wait for the expensive Apple iPhone that will first be available in the US for $500 when applying for a two years plan can rush on the LG by Prada new cell phone, the latest trendy designer phone.
What we like with the Prada by LG cell phone is that it uses a capacitance sensor as a laptop computer touchpad, so you can’t use a stylus to operate it as well as your fingers, and when the LG Chocolate cell phone had only a small sensor, the Prada LG handset sensor covers almost the entire front of the phone, exactly as the new Apple gadget iPhone.
We can call this Prada phone a chic phone, because it really is stylish, with its plain shell and its black and white Prada default screen featuring a clock in the middle of the display.
It is also easy to use, and a tap on the clock for example sets the alarm, and all the screen options are strong enough to be easily read even in bright daylight.
The virtual dialing pad that appears when you want to make calls is large, almost as large as iPhone one, and anyway bigger than any other phone we previously reviewed. It is also perfectly responsive as is the letter pad that pops up when you want to type a message.
Prada phone battery can keep charge a day and a half if the phone is moderately used, but somebody using his Prada phone as a main phone will have to charge it everyday.
The 2 megapixels camera is not wonderful and we wonder why LG didn't put a 3,2 millions pixels on its Camera, but shooting and viewing pictures full screen is a great feature.
The large screen display makes surfing the internet a good experience too but what one's can wonder is if such large screens as iPhone and Prada phones ones won't be to much susceptible to scratches, so Prada supplies a Prada branded leather case for the phone.
Far from perfect this LG Prada mobile phone is anyway quite good and overall this is an impressive handset.
Even if people buying a Prada phone might not be the same type of customers as the ones waiting for the Apple iPhone which is the most advanced cell phone ever, LG will surely have some of its customers who would have bought an Apple iPhone if it had come earlier and cheaper.
